Who is Beth Moore and what
is a Beth Moore Bible Study about?
Beth Moore speaks nationwide and has written many Bible studies
that are studied all over the world. Beth's humor and openness
about her own struggles plus her God-given gift of teaching creates
a warm and exciting study that speaks in a powerful way.
Each study is focused on a particular topic with daily lessons
of searching and applying scripture in a workbook context. She
also teaches a segment via videotape.
OUMC men and women will meet once a week with facilitators who
discuss the lesson. Join us this fall for one or more of the following
studies:
Beloved Women - 11 week studies:
Study of Daniel
This study meets on Wednesdays at 12:30 p.m. in the Parlor
A Woman's Heart - This study will help you understand the Old Testament Tabernacle and the meaning it has for people today.

A Heart Like His - This is a study of David and how he dealt with many of the same issues the God's people face today.

When Godly People Do Ungodly Things - Based on her experiences and studies, Beth Moore reveals the common denominator of those who are in danger of being seduced by Satan. "When Godly People Do Ungodly Things" is a guide to authentic repentance and restoration.

The Beloved Disciple: The Life and Ministry of John - In
Beloved Disciple, you will get to know the one the New Testament
calls the beloved disciple. They will explore the depths of John's
relationship with Jesus
Christ, viewing their own relationship with Christ as unique from all others.
They will see themselves as modern “beloved disciples” and will discover how
to allow God to establish a love relationship with Christ as the motivation for
all they seek and do.
This study meets on Sundays at 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. in the Parlor
Living Beyond Yourselves: Exploring the Fruits of the Spirit - This 10 session study is a powerful resource that will equip believers to come to know the freedom of a life filled with peace, joy, gentleness, and other positive characteristics (Gal. 5:22-23). By encouraging participants to develop and maintain an intimate relationship with the Spirit of God, this study will help them to nurture and cultivate the fruit of the Spirit in their daily lives.

Dwelling Place. This 11-week in-depth study of the Old Testament
Tabernacle ponders why a holy God would
choose to dwell among humans. Through this in-depth study of the
Old Testament tabernacle, explore the fascinating account of
the building of the tabernacle, the significance of its intricate
design, its pivotal role in God's eternal plan, and its variety
of meanings for women today.

Breaking Free: Making Liberty in Christ a Reality in Life - a study of selected passages from the Book of Isaiah. This 11-week study draws several parallels between the captive Israelites and today's Christians, focusing on making freedom in Christ a daily reality.
